The project for the extension and refurbishment of the St Barbara Hospital will involve a new annex building, which shall house new facilities as a part of the implementation of the Hospital’s Functional Plan. This includes areas such as Emergency, Medical Imaging, Surgical and Obstetric Block and ICU among others.

Grupo Criptana will manufacture and assemble more than 16,000 square metres of insulated rectangular sheet metal duct and an additional 1,000 square metres of rectangular fibreglass duct. The entire installation will be completed with approximately 1,000 grilles for the extraction of air from the different air- conditioned areas, more than 300 diffusers to distribute the air throughout the hospital and almost 600 dampers to regulate the air volume.
